CEC- Clean Transportation Program Community Benefits Workshop

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29 AT 10:00AM. The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to discuss and receive stakeholder feedback on how to define, measure, and improve the benefits provided to communities by the CEC Clean Transportation Program (CTP). The CEC is committed to equity, which includes how funds are allocated.
This workshop continues the effort to ensure that CTP projects are not only located in disadvantaged and low-income communities but also that these communities benefit from CTP investments.

CA Energy Commission Clean Hydrogen Program Workshop

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1 AT 10:00AM PACIFIC. The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a staff workshop to solicit feedback on the implementation of the new Clean Hydrogen Program created under Assembly Bill (AB) 209 (The Energy and Climate Change budget bill, Chapter 251, enacted in September 2022). This new program will contribute to economy-wide decarbonization by providing opportunities to accelerate clean hydrogen production and use.

With state and regional efforts to advance a clean hydrogen economy rapidly expanding, it will be important to consider the corresponding economic development and workforce opportunities. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9 - THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10 Global Mass Transit is organizing its second conference on “Clean Buses in the US”, on November 9-10, 2022 at InterContinental San Francisco. As of December 2021, over 3,500 ZEBs have been funded, ordered, delivered or deployed in the US. California is leading the deployment of ZEBs in the country and accounts for a 39 per cent share of the current ZEB fleet. This is driven primarily by its policies and programs that target a 100 per cent ZEB fleet by 2040.
