WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22 AT 1:00PM PACIFIC. The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) invites you to participate in a public workshop to discuss an update to the three-year plan for light-duty vehicle and clean transportation equity investments. At this workshop, staff will discuss the definition of a sustainable ZEV market, provide updates on identified metrics to track progress toward a sustainable ZEV market, and discuss additional metrics to include in the analysis.

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a public workshop to gather stakeholder feedback on potential funding concepts related to zero- and near-zero-carbon fuel production and supply. During the workshop, CEC staff will present proposals for future funding projects. CEC Commissioner Patty Monahan, Lead Commissioner on Transportation, may participate.

The two-day event will bring together policymakers, utilities, green energy developers, oil and gas infrastructure companies, technology providers, industry experts and investors to present their perspectives, discuss early projects, and offer possible solutions in shaping the future of green hydrogen in the US. It will provide a platform to discuss and analyse the critical decisions needed to unlock the potential of green hydrogen in the US energy transition strategy.

TUESDAY, MAY 31 AT 1:00PM PACIFIC. The 2022 Oregon Legislature directed the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and the Oregon Department of Transportation to gather, review, and recommend incentives that are needed to support the transition to zero emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and the necessary charging or fueling infrastructure.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 6 AT 8:00AM PACIFIC - The California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) is one of the biggest industry/government collaborations worldwide. California is a pioneer in hydrogen mobility. As of May 31, 13,806 fuel cell cars were sold and leased in the US, 66 fuel cell buses are in operation in California, 76 FCEBs are in development and 56 hydrogen stations are available.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 18 AT 12:00PM - PACIFIC. Hydrogen has the highest chemical activity of any fuel, is 75% of known mass in the universe, and reacts with oxygen from our atmosphere to form water. As such, hydrogen has always been the fuel of choice for both high performance and clean energy applications. So why are we still using inferior fuels? Logistics. Although hydrogen is the best of fuels by many measures, it is also the worst of fuels when it comes to storage and transport.
