DOE - Stakeholder Briefings - Hydrogen Hubs
MONDAY, OCTOBER 16 FROM 2:00PM - 4:45PM EASTERN TIME. On Friday, October 13, 2023, OCED announced the selection of seven H2Hubs across the country for award negotiations. The goal of the H2Hubs program is to help accelerate the production, processing, delivery, storage, and end-use of clean hydrogen - critical to DOE’s strategy for achieving President Biden’s goal of a 100 percent clean electrical grid by 2035 and net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. These H2Hubs represent a federal investment of $7 billion in hydrogen infrastructure and emphasize community and labor engagement; diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility; investing in the America Workforce; and the Biden Administration’s Justice40 Initiative.
