CEC- IEPR Commissioner Workshop on Role of Hydrogen in California’s Clean Energy Future

TUESDAY, JUNE 21 FROM 10:00AM - 5:00PM PACIFIC. The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to discuss the role of hydrogen in California’s clean energy future. Vice Chair Siva Gunda is CEC’s Lead Commissioner for the 2022 IEPR Update. A quorum of commissioners may participate in person, but no votes will be taken. The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the direction provided below.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22 AT 1:00PM PACIFIC. The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) invites you to participate in a public workshop to discuss an update to the three-year plan for light-duty vehicle and clean transportation equity investments. At this workshop, staff will discuss the definition of a sustainable ZEV market, provide updates on identified metrics to track progress toward a sustainable ZEV market, and discuss additional metrics to include in the analysis.

The California Hydrogen Leadership Summit will explore the policies, programs and incentives needed in 2022 to accelerate production, use, and storage of hydrogen, which is essential to California’s ability to meet emissions goals and address climate protection, air quality, energy resilience and sustainable economic growth needs.
