WEDNESDAY, JULY 27 AT 7:00AM PACIFIC. Liquid hydrogen can play an important role as a fuel for zero-emission trucks in the future. It is the only solution known today that can achieve a range of over 1,000 km. At the same time, refueling is possible in just a few minutes, similar to diesel.

Mission Hydrogen - Hydrogen for Trains

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29 AT 7:00AM PACIFIC - Hydrogen has the potential to replace diesel as a fuel for trains, especially for long distances. The gas company Linde has just built the world's largest hydrogen refueling station for trains in northern Germany in collaboration with a local railway company. With a capacity of 1,600 kg of hydrogen per day, the station can fill up to 14 trains. The range of the trains is then 1,000 km.

EV Exhibit Opening at the California Automobile Museum

MONDAY, JUNE 27 AT 4:30PM. The California Auto Museum in Sacramento is opening its 3-month summer exhibit, it's an EV exhibit and it includes fuel cell vehicles. That day the museum will also be the terminus of the Coast-to-Coast EV ride in our parking lot. The parking lot show is FREE. ALL FCEV drivers are welcome to attend and display their vehicles. 

CEC- IEPR Commissioner Workshop on Role of Hydrogen in California’s Clean Energy Future

TUESDAY, JUNE 21 FROM 10:00AM - 5:00PM PACIFIC. The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to discuss the role of hydrogen in California’s clean energy future. Vice Chair Siva Gunda is CEC’s Lead Commissioner for the 2022 IEPR Update. A quorum of commissioners may participate in person, but no votes will be taken. The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the direction provided below.
