WEDNESDAY, MAY 26 AT 9:00AM (PACIFIC). Two European-based initiatives – HyDeal Ambition and the European Backbone Initiatives – have already made significant strides to decarbonize Europe's gas and energy systems. To achieve low-cost delivered hydrogen, these initiatives are supporting European gas operators in creating a ‘green hydrogen-ready’ infrastructure system capable of transporting, distributing, and storing green hydrogen gas.

Our featured speakers will provide an overview of the Biden Administration’s support for the role of hydrogen technologies to address climate change and preserve and create high-wage jobs.

One of the biggest challenges facing grid operators is to find cost effective ways to balance renewable energy production with demand. While batteries provide some flexibility, the ability to store large quantities of low-cost energy over long periods of time is essential to fill seasonal gaps and to address the prevalence of renewable energy droughts.
