January 6 - CHBC Virtual Briefings -200 Heavy Duty Hydrogen Stations by 2035

THURSDAY, JANUARY 6 AT 10:00AM PACIFIC. Join CaFCP's Technical Manager Nico Bouwkamp at CHBC's virtual meeting on 200 Heavy Duty Hydrogen Stations by 2035. Globally, the heavy-duty sector accounts for less than 10 percent of the vehicle population, yet it contributes approximately 40 percent of vehicle-generated carbon emissions. This session will discuss policies to accelerate the deployment of heavy duty fuel cell vehicles, develop hydrogen fueling corridors, and the need for infrastructure funding.

SoCal Gas Webinar: Materials - Based Hydrogen Storage for Heavy Duty Vehicles

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14 AT 10:00AM PACIFIC. SoCalGas® invites you to a webinar featuring Sandia National Laboratories, that will cover nanoscale metal hydride composites for efficient storage of hydrogen on board heavy-duty vehicles. These materials have the potential to store and deliver hydrogen at the right pressure and energy-density required to meet Department of Energy (DOE) targets.

CARB Webinar: 2022 Scoping Plan Update - Short-Lived Climate Pollutants Workshop

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 AT 9:00AM (PACIFIC). The 2022 Scoping Plan Update will assess progress towards achieving the Senate Bill 32 2030 target and lay out a path to achieve carbon neutrality no later than 2045. CARB will initiate development of modeled scenarios to illustrate outcomes that lead to carbon neutrality. Short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) are powerful climate forcers that have relatively short atmospheric lifetimes. These pollutants include the greenhouse gas (GHG) methane, hydrofluorocarbons (HFC), and anthropogenic black carbon.

DOE Webex Webinar: 2021 DOE OFFICE OF ELECTRICITY ENERGY STORAGE PROGRAM ANNUAL PEER REVIEW

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26 - THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28 AT 10:00AM (EASTERN). The 2021 DOE Office of Electricity Energy Storage Program Annual Peer Review assembles researchers from across the DOE landscape to summarize the state of the art in energy storage research, development, and application. Technical topics will include Innovative Deployment Projects, Power Electronics, Grid Integration and Interoperability, Equity and Resilience, Policy, Safety and Reliability, Ana

CHBC at ACT Expo for the Hydrogen – It Really Does Work Today! Workshop

MONDAY, AUGUST 30 AT 3:00PM (PACIFIC). The California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) is hosting a two-hour workshop in conjunction with the ACT Expo in Long Beach on August 30, 2021. This workshop will cover hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks.

CARB Webinar - Draft Cap-and-Trade Auction Proceeds Fourth Investment Plan

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 AT 2:30PM (PACIFIC)The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in virtual public workshop to discuss the Draft Cap-and-Trade Auction Proceeds Fourth Investment Plan (Fourth Investment Plan). Every three years, the Department of Finance, in consultation with CARB and other State agencies, submits an Investment Plan to the Legislature to guide the investment of Cap-and-Trade auction proceeds.

CEC - Session 2 - IEPR Commissioner Workshop on Hydrogen to Support California’s Clean Energy Transition

WEDNESDAY, JULY 28 FROM 2:00PM - 4:30PM (PACIFIC)The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to explore the potential role of hydrogen technologies in California’s clean energy transition. Commissioner J. Andrew McAllister is CEC’s lead commissioner for the 2021 Integrated Energy Policy Report (2021 IEPR) and Commissioner Karen Douglas is the lead for the analysis of hydrogen for the 2021 IEPR proceeding.
